hihi....

wow can't believe its just the 5th day of 2005... in these few days i've already done so many interesting things... well at least to me that it ^_^

lemme summarise what i did that was particularly interesting...

on new year's day me dad and myself went on a no frills tour of southern singapore. taking a free shuttle bus from tiong bahru plaza, we were treated to a scenic view of sentosa island and i got to test my handphone with lots of nice pics.... even my dad was impressed! haha... went to walk aimlessly at harbourfront... which is actually some milestone event for me... cause my dad and myself are very pragmatic/practical people... we always do things for a purpose... never to aimlessly shop :P so 1 stone killed 2 practical birds.. hee.... watched national treasure... which was surprisingly very good! a good mix of indiana jones with james bond aspects too... nice... then we went one more round on the free shuttle bus to go to harbourfront to eat dinner :P so along the way got the scenic night view of mt faber again... haha.... makan the food... dammit it was one of the best hokkien prawn mee with oyster omelette and sugar cane juice i ever had... then guess what... we took the shuttle bus back home... so both of us didn't spent one cent on transport... and the 10 hour outing the only thing we bought was one new paper... lol...

another event was my sec 1 orientation at outram... yeah... i miss being an outramian... was involved in sec 1 orientation when i was in sec 2,3,4 and this year... but this year i go back as an instructor... and boy do i feel old... good thing was some of the councilors knew me (when i didn't know them.. sorry.. ^_^") then i had 7 councilor's under my wing to handle class 1/4! u have shi hui, siew ling as I.Cs.. zhi han, han jun, zhao xuan, catherine and shirin... my first impression was... uh ohh.... chinese names... how to remember... lol... so anyway i did my stuff and slowly the bond was successfully established... in summary i feel that these are the BEST councilors that have been under my wing of the 3 years i handled orientation... very active, very responsible, dependable... the only regret is that i can't work with them again... sad... anyway if i did by any chance scold you during the orientation (out of the excitement/stress) i did not mean it and apologise for my actions... you guys ROCK!!!

my class.. ah... 1/4... the sian sian class... lol.... i had to blowup all my actions like nobodies business... lol.... then had like zhao yuan's "diao..." or chin keong's "breakdown" or chee han's "moan.. think tarzan moaning" and my own brand of "trying to entertain the sec 1s" managed to get a few smiles within the first 20mins.... FEW cannot be stressed enough... haha... but by day 2... they were WILD man!!! especially when i was assigned a station and both groups came within 10mins from each other... one had my checkpoint as number 2 and the other as 3. so quite fun lor... woah i was really surprised at how open they were with me... this kind of thing only makes me happy... ^_^ good good!!! thanks 1/4... for the record, i took 1/4 as a class for 2 years out of my 4. haha...
