heyz...

school's out!!! whoopeedoo.... know i'm gonna screw up my common test....... its gonna be a hard time ahead....

so today... i decided to help clean up the class today..... miss damo finds it dirty.... and i don't want history to repeat itself. secondary sch.... hai...... we nearly cliched the top prize... dirtiest class award....

so today.... Hall of honour.... my salute goes to you all today...

Kalai
Wen You

Charles

yah thanks a lot for helping me to keep the classroom clean.... here's basically what we did

All tables washed and wiped clean
All chair washed and wiped clean
Fans cleaned
Windows washed twice
Whiteboard received a face lift... it's really white now... ^_^
washed the floor & mop
washed the carpet

currently on monday.... this doubles as a class announcement, the class will be opened for cleaning once again. basically we're gonna bring in detergent and stuff now.... cause the windows smell a bit because of the water... and on top of that.. we're finally using the shades to block out some sunlight. but its tested, it helps to make things seen on the transparency a hell lot cleaner. thinking of a hammock and a dinning room which are more or less in position....

actually had this interesting idea of putting carpets under our tables.... that will be just so cool... think about it.... nice soft carpet while you're studying... wow sounds like some european classroom....

a important life skill can be learnt here.... as much as this may seem as a ridiculous act to do..... this life skill can be applicable in other aspects.... this life skill is called commitment.

yes commitment is but another of the many pillars in my life... for me..... how do i apply this? well basically... if i'm tasked to do something that i know i can do.... i'll commit myself to it..... to not do it.... but to create something even better.....

take for example.... the Valedictorian speech i made in 2003..... basically what was required was a normal and simple speech reflecting on my year.... what it became was a normal speech said with total emotion, actions and expression... people have mentioned that my speech though comparably as long as the principal and GOH's speech..... was the most meaningful and entertaining..... (dun think clown..... sHIT u thought clown)

too boring for ya? well look at my Youth Flying Club.... as much as i'm pressed for time already..... i still can dedicate time for YFC..... so much that it takes up almost half my life.... do i do slipshot work when i do this??? that fellow readers is something that separates me from some slackers i know. imagine you do slipshot work when you're doing a solo flight....

imagine you forget that you put your parking brakes (think hand brake on car) on while you're going to land.... a check to ensure its off is missed due to slipshot work... do you know what could happen when you land? ever heard of daytona? you'll bloody crash.... well not before you're nose wheel comes slamming down on the runway and breaks, you're propellor hits the ground breaks and flys through the cockpit, taking you're arm off... you're bleeding and madly trying to control the aircraft... your wings hit the ground, the aircraft loses control and flips 180 laterally.... you hear your aircraft tail get smashed and u see the runway so close it slams and crushes your cockpit.... the aircraft finally comes to a stop..... you look up to the skies and wonder is there really a god? you smell the smell aviation fuel..... you hear the engine of the aircraft still whizzing as it slowly dies..... you look at your hand.... it is soaked with blood..... your blood.... you lose your vision..... but yet at the same time you see your life passing you.... the birthdays you celebrate.... the girlfriend you love and cherish so dear.... but suddenly..... those imagines become blind to you.... because now you'll see the sad faces of your family... your friends.... your wife (wherever applicable) if not your girlfriend.... (whenever applicable) to see their faces turn sad..... you somehow discover..... "what have i done???" one minor error and my life will end......

it cannot and shall not be...... suddenly the fuel catches fire..... you're still in the cockpit engulfed by the flames..... you're being burnt..... you feel hell has surrounded you...... but yet at the same time.... as your fire resistant flight suit protects you against the fire.... like how your loved one(s) have protected you in times of need..... it slowly gives way to the intense heat...... you try to let out a tear for all your friends, family, loved ones...... but the fire engulfs it in no time.... and all that awaits you...... is death. . . .

so a lot of issues have been raised..... commitment...... no slip shot work..... risks..... responsibilities...... and many many more.... some of which i'll highlight on other entries....

but felllow readers who will not be going to crash any aeroplane anytime soon..... and since tis the season of love & hardships in my class..... i will tell you this today..... think of your girlfriend/boyfriend as your flight suit as explained above.... they are there to help you, to shield you, to protect you.... they are one with you... no matter what the circumstances..... (ie the plane crash) the flight suit stayed with the pilot till the very end..... hence in our world..... one must fight till the end of the relationship with upmost commitment and loyalty.... you treat him/her bad.... like a flight suit.... it can fail you or desert you in due time....

given the chance to be some girl's boyfriend..... ha.... i wish, hope, dream, wonder, desire, want..... i expect nothing but a 100% commitment on my part to her..... whatever she gives in return is up to her to decide.... but one must honour the principle of equilivant trade (Alchemy) "to receive something, one must offer something of the same value.." Respect, Integrity, Commitment, Honour (RICH) this is what i'll give..... would you?

well i gotta go nowz..... got my 1st solo wings presentation soonz.... tata.... i hope that you've found this lesson beneficial. if ya wanna know more..... feel free to msn me... shauny86@singnet.com.sg e-mail me and expect no reply (this is not the"Manhattan Belong to me" advert.)
