haha posting this entry a bit late... but its pretty interesting... interesting enough for me to add in.

well today i had the 1st wave flight at YFC. take off time is at 0830hrs. yahz its that early... haha... so i woke up at 0545hrs and left by 0630hrs. blah blah blah blah... reached Jalan Kayu bus interchange to wait for the van to come at 0740hrs. it came and didnt leave till about 0750hrs.... i was like "oh manz.... dun tell me i'll be late for my flight..." so i got off at YFC and ran to do the signing in and stuff... ran to Siva's office to see him... but the door was locked... so probably will be in the OPs room.

so i got there.... Siva hasn't signed me in yet. (Instructors have to authorise that you are flying at that time slot) so that means he isn't in yet. then suddenly someone called YFC. then Vivian, the YFC OPs person, went to the board and put along my slot in the remarks column... "Instructor Sick" i was like "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Vivian then saw me... and laughed.... "You can hope that this Cheethan doesn't come, so you can fly under the instructor" i was like... oh ok... oh wait... who's flying me??? M. Singh... haha.... no thanks.... he's pretty scary to me.... feel kinda erm.... he has this intimidation aura around him. and i flew with him once... nearly got screwed but thanks to the rain the sortie was not graded. then when Viv finished saying that... i saw him on my left signing in.... -_-'' ok..... so waking up at 5.45am to travel half way across singapore was for nothign.... fine.......

then because of this and that... 7 instructors that were supposed to come down. only 5 did. 1 was the CFX... basically the instructor that will man the ground radio. so we're left with only 4 instructors. "The weather is like dogshit" as quoted from M.Singh which i totally couldn't stop laughing. so only Dual Circuits were allowed. basically students in Phase II and PPL can fly. so i was like argh!!! Siva didn't come.... T_T... so i was given 2nd wave. so oki 1hr30mins to wait... haha and i'm scheduled to fly with Steve Loh.

so i go off and grab a bite... got a noodle dish N ice lemon tea...then when i''m about to eat i got a call from OPs... "hey Chua BS, where are u now ah? ... ... ... now got a sortie for you" i'm like... i'm about to eat my food.... do u expect me to through it away??? then i ask the canteen auntie by a long chance to take care of my food... she say ok... woah best... i'm running off to OPs....

as i entered.... Simon Sim (Sim CK) sayed "Mr Chua, lets get ready to fly" so i'm in G aircraft. i run to prep my aircrraft cause its already 9am... take off time should be 0830-0840hrs. so quickly prepared the a/c in double quick time. then he briefed me in the plane... woah he's really nice despite my friends warnings. i was pretty kan chiong cause of the rush... and the weather was pretty bad.... so i was telling him, might have to go down due to choppy weather... then he said "relax lah, enjoy flying" woah i was moved manz..... and throughout the flight i was really much better and more relaxed.

today we had a tail wind... (wind blowing from behind), by right the runway in use should have changed. but by left it wasn't changed. tail wind is considered dangerous. so i'm like flying way off when landing cause of the damm wind.... its like if u copy and paste the runway next to it twice, i'll still be off.... the wind was like 6-9knots coming from the rear side. technically its not allowed... for students.... haha... only found out after the flight. Simon Sim said only if the student can handle it then let him fly. (hint hint)

nearly killed 2 birds today. erm... one big one as i was taking off.... its like the size of a seagull. i was taking off.. propellor spinning at 2500rpm... the bird was like dumb or something.... was flying in a path that would intercept my aircraft.... head on... i was like erm.. "Sir, bird sighted" then he toook control and swerved the aircraft... haha.... then he asked me why i was so kan chiong... then i told him "was worried about the bird sir" haha cause of his inspiring words, i couldnt help but to return the favour... he was laughing away manz...

then when i landed, i saw this little black spot on the taxyway next to the yellow line. then as i came to about 10m, i saw this cute little bird. u know those sparrow sized onez.. sooo cute... then i was like... uh oh... i'm going to run it over if i continue like this... move bird move!!! then when it went out of my line of sight due to the aircraft's nose blocking, i had to swerved away.

oh yahz... nearly crashed today... cause on my final landing, i was about 30ft above the runway, then suddenly the wind blew and the aircraft's left wing dropped by about 45 degres!!!! i got a shock and pulled up... while my instructor took over.... phew...

fingers tireed.... typing for 2hrs ... oki afternoon did econs with kalai and then we went for thhe christmas play... which i will blog that tomorrow...
