You know you’re having a good day when someone goes out of his way just to help you out even though it maybe just for 15 seconds and all I can give in return is a thank you.
Today was seriously some mad rushing. So hilarious my 2 flights today. Started out with me being the only student among a 5 men formation. Super stress man… anything I say wrong could lead to disastrous repercussions. So exciting. Lol… after getting screwed left right centre we proceeded for our mission. Sadly the weather was not that good so one of the pilots would have to lose out. So we were instructed to do a weather check to give the base a more accurate reading from an airman. So after all that was planned which took like 5mins of coordination, his aircraft spoilt. LOL! So he went to taxy back and left only 2 aircraft. The funniest thing is that when we’re ready to call for take off clearance. i realised that my aircraft had some instrument error which needed me to restart my system. LOL! everything just went wrong.
landed with a sucky sortie flown. after landing and dekitting i walked into the ops room and got a quick debrief done only to realise then i got to walk out for my next flight in 15mins. woah!!! mad rush again.
after stepping and walking out solo to my aircraft, i saw the tractor (those that tow aircrafts) come back to the squadron and he went like "hey sir! can i give you a ride?" woah i was totally stunned. offer a student a lift? solid man i so happy and took the ride there. quite fun though i was damm scared i'd fall off. cause i'm carrying so much equipment and my CG was totally off already. but end of the day i was so happy that he gave me a lift. totally unexpcted. thanks to you man!
cheers
