bonjour fellow readers...

today i wake up from a dream.... a most interesting dream... a dream most related to what i read today...

ARE SINGAPORE MEN TODAY STILL THE CHIVAROUS KNIGHTS THEY ONCE WERE?

interesting topic i came across about this.

basically it talks about how singaporean have lost the thing that made man chivarous in the past.

CHIVALRY

think shakespearean era.
think of Romeo's passion for Juliet.
think of Othello's undying love for Desdemona
think of Antony and Cleopatra's forbidden love for each other.

think today
do we still have men who give their undying love to their girl amidst the society of personal gain?
do we still have men who go through the romantic process of courting her?
do we still have men who spice up their relationship through the little deeds of love?

Think about it,
Do we still have it?

lol.... it became a poem? interesting.... anyway.. think about it? girls, ladies, babe, butch, lesbians. (the whole spectrum of females)... is love really the same as before? has it changed to become a mere commodity that is traded? some say men do not have the opportunity to show it because of how women seem to be more independent now. how women fight for their rights...

can we say that men aren't needed to spice the relationship? that people like Othello, Antony and Cleo.... (bleahx) Romeo are really just characters who live in history, textbooks? do we have them today? today in Singapore? is the presence of the 5Cs so important? is the need to gain importance in the job that important?

is winning a girls heart just buying her a drink?
is winning a girls heart just buying a $50 bouquet of flowers?
is winning a girls heart just buying her a box of chocolates?
is winning a girls heart just buying her jewelry?

think about it.

anyway got some studying done today.... doing SEA history and going through 3 sets of notes... was downright tiring... u've got a messy detailed package, untidy brief lecture notes (thanks to me falling asleep sometimes), and another set of detailed lecture notes that doesn't tally at all with the other 2. after doing 4hours of cracking and converting... i've more or less finished 1 of 5 topics in SEA history. so that constitutes to 10% of my history revision for prelims. yeahz... interesting isn't it? i've got a splitting headache now sorting out the other 40%... hope to do more tomorrow...

but i feel good now.... i feel as if being a JC student has been the best choice i've made. the study today has drowned me in facts, pulled me away from my love and social life, and brought me to

the wonderful world of history,
the fantastical world of literature,
the unique world of economics,
the inquisitive world of GP,
the untouched world of CLB

i body feels heavy, burderned with regret, burning with desire, erupting with vigour,
fueled by pain, love and passion

tis may be my last entry for awhile.... read it and enjoy....
