Ashes to Ashes
Life's a bitch
plagued by that witch
My life directionless
amidst my aim of perfection
I leave my school at three
ready to be with the military
to submit my documents i must
selling my life so early i must adjust
my walk to the base
i notice something,
a great peril
that questions my morals
like a forgotten battlefield
of burnt corpses
and forsaken effects
the past is honoured
the ashes that fly around
blind me of my sight
tis a great plight
is it worth my flight?
the forgotten battlefield
clears soon enough
the days soon forgotten
all returns to normal
but a battlefield long fought
will always have its scars
those black scars
poison what we've done so far
is this a battle worth fighting for?
is this a battle worth dying for?
is my life worth spending to protect such filth?
to die for my country to allow scum to live?
do they appreciate our country?
we respect their practices
we tolerate their mistakes
but do they ever learn?
a dog of the military i become
to protect my king (PM) and country
to protect my family and friends
to protect the one i love...
for this i continue my dream
as my dreams draws closer to reality
my spirit grows with each day
to be enriched further by those rays
i will not surcumb to that bitch
who flirts and hurts
i will not respect that witch
my spirit greatly forbid
i hate thy soul
you dishonourable ghoul
tortured till grusome dismemberment
you will not be remembered
END
fellow greetings to the reader ^_^
i wonder how you feel towards this poem... shocked? puzzled? blur-ed? (zy. hee..) gee... i really wonder...
what triggered this poem? very simple. 2 reason. miss yao (my history teacher)... the witch, bitch yahz... anything that rhymes with it sounds good to me. even slut rhymes.... *cold laughter* the other reason? the ashes and scars.... guessed it yet? *tick tock tick tock tick tick tick tick* u guessed it.. its 'em chinese burning frenzies.
i'm seriously very puzzled... the government gives us our "bins" to burn our offerings and people can take a chalk draw a circle next to the bin and burn their offerings.... this morning i saw this relatively large fire next to that bin.... was like "huh?" or like jeff would say "OUT OF POINT"
then i thought to myself, ai... freak case lah... shouldn't be a problem.. then in the afternoon i tell you!!! terrigible.... the path to CMPB (Central Man Power Base) was littered with all those ashes and chalk marks and candles sticking out of the ground.... i was like so "pek cek" (pissed off) that i immediately knew that this should be posted on my blog...
why do we chinese not follow such practices... the government gives us bins and we don't freakin use them! i mean seriously.... wat is wrong with us. though ya i respect people who burn them in 'em bins but for those fools.... those thrash!! *turns on music: life is beautiful* *big sigh* right... nothing more worth my time saying... i mean seriously... would u want me to take my history notes and burn them in your house/garden? would you want that? i've got a lot ^_^ toopid.
yahz.... and i had this very weird dream this morning.... lets reveal the events.
1. i'm travelling down a mine shaft in a lift with this female miner. she is known to be deaf and i had just found out about that as we travelled down it.
2. i get out of the lift and head towards this area of the mine where guys were having some burgers. she went the other way... going deeper into the darkness.
3. i'm told by the miners that there were going to blow up a section of the mine... and not long, a huge explosion is heard.... coming from the darkness... the deaf girl was there.... was she dead?
4. i then found myself climbing this squarish spiral staircase that has mud all over. i felt like a mole moving upwards. as i climbed higher and higher, the ceiling became lower and lower... till i had to crawl... and then i came to the end... i met a toad. a toad that was furry. as in like... dog fur furry. it was telling me about something. some wise words while i was petting it.
5. i then end up in a convenience store close by. being at the counter counting the cash, i notice two ladies walk in and comment that i change the swing doors to an automatic sliding door. (symbol of japanese culture?)
6. i am walking in the streats and notice this lady... the deaf girl alive!!! she was selling fruits... some weird green apples. they were the size of watermelons. BUT with the exception of it being dented on one side. not bruised. but dented, yesh with the skin intact. selling at $1. then this someone, someone close to me whom i was with earlier took out some cash and gave it to her. she looked as if it was someone dear to me. but i cannot confirm. she told us that she came with $30 and had only 80cents left.... and my dreams end like that.
interesting right? ^_^
