hiz....
had a very interesting chat today. haha... eeventually came to the topic on relationships... haha anyway i was talking to a girl about it. then she was wondering about whether the fastest way to the guys heart is actually through the stomach.

well in relation to this topic... i would like to share what i shared with my friend to provide a better understanding of the topic and the guys side of the story. i'll throw in my own personal experience while i'm at it.

IS THE WAY TO THE GUYS HEART THROUGH HIS STOMACH
PART 1
i kinda disagree a lot to this statement. yes every single test may point to the fact that a guy tends to be overjoyed that someone special has cooked something for him. the girl would also think that she has accomplished much when she sees the guy happy.

but doesn't this so relate to what we call the patriarcal society. the woman being the housewife and cooks all day... so typical right? hai... perhaps even if women say "Oh we are fighting for our rights, we will break the stereotype that a woman is bound to the kitchen" ha! my foot... you all still believe in the fact that the way to a guys heart is through his stomach.

but that is where i would like to redefine the thesis. yes the way to a guy's heart is through his stomach. But what is important to know is what goes into the cooking? when a girl cooks for a guy she really likes/loves. something invaluable that in put into the food is what you call love. that is why guys tend to appreciate even more... because there is the element of love put into the present that is eventually given.

what i would like to redefine is the thesis is that "the way to a guy's heart is through the way you convey your love towards him" in this sense it is very widely defined. i mean think about it. if i were to give you a $50 present. wrap it a little and woala... "happy birthday". what is the nett value of the present you give? $50. but if i were to give you a present that cost $25 and i decorate it with a nice poem/letter about expressing how you are so beautiful and how you have been the passion in my life and stuff. the latter would have a greater impact on the girl than the former. in this sense, coming from a guy, i feel that receiving the same 2 gifts, the latter would be more meaningful. heck to date, i still have a certain chinese new year letter given to me in sec 2.

END OF PART 1

Preview of next issue:
"cooking is but one of the many avenues for a girl to put in her invaluable love into it. there are so many other ways that girls may choose to do."

Upcoming articles:
What are the fine differences guy may have.

hmmm... comments anyone? i think its a very interesting topic to explore. but anywayz... i'll need to do them in parts. well i'm no love expert. i'm just basing them on personal experiences and lessons learnt and my own observations.

yuppie i'm gonna sleep nowz.... got my RSAF interview tomorrow... another obstacle to cross as i move towards my career in the airforce. ja-ne
