hiZ...

today i officially go back to flying after my feverish weekend and the recycler's ramble. so today i do sortie 13. yuppie Phase II. hopefully i dun get a 4.

had a meeting in sch today with brother paul alongside 2 other CCAs. indirectly Brother made 1hr meeting over the topic "Look out! your CCA will be closed down soon if you don't do anything" it was so blardy simple to see through it.

that was at 9am. my flight was at 11. need to be there around 10.30 at least! so brother took 1hr... and the meeting went on among the CCAs. so i zao and chiong to YFC. Mark Yeo was flying me. actually he's really a nice guy. i wouldn't mind him as my PI. he's good.

so i did my circuits today. honestly speaking. i did a hell lot better than usual. corrected my previous mistakes and successfully handled landing 4 times, out of 7 line ups. (attempts to land) 2 of them were Go Arounds. (cancel landing) and the other was guided.

oh but today's emegencies was fun. EFATO (Engine Failure After Take Off) this is very serious manz.... cause you're only about max 500ft above sea level. and you have no power. you're climbing at 500-800ft a min and suddenly your nose just drops!!! and you're descending at about 300ft a min. So your emergency drills gotta be done in about a minute. but since the lowest you can fly is 200ft. you have less than a minute to conduct the drill.

my first attempt was too slow.... basically he started climbing again and told me. "Too late... you've crashed" awww.... so i tried again. did well on subsequent times. a lot of Good indications from him. u know... the thumbs up.

yeahz mark Yeo is also training me for Radio Telephony Etiquette. must be polite to the people. kinda like his trademark. so i would be honoured to learn that from him too. though the other instructors say its kinda ridiculous... u know like greeting them. oh well...

overall grade? well i was waiting evaluation and ya... he got an important call and i waited in the lounge for 10mins. had a private talk with someone important... (hehe... wonder who that was right?) sorry this is really top secret. i cannot reveal this at all. my life is at stake ya? then went back for grading. he gave me like 4s and 5s. which is a significant improvement since i only had one 5 among lots of 4s the last time. so he gave me my FIRST 5 score for Phase II. yeah manz!!! i'm going to do my best!!! YFC is backing me up too!!! i'm actually flying tomorrow too!! sortie 14!!! within this 2 weeks... i'll be doing my First SOLO!!! owwww!!!!!!!! yeah baby!!!! that is soooo gonna rock!!

oh ya... i got to test YFC's new batch of headphones.... woah these are really good headsets. comfortable and super clear. i think these are the instructors brand of headphones too... ^_^ wow nice.....

after that i went to kalai's house for gaming.... can't really talk much about that... cause i need to get on with my flight preparation.... i need to maintain that 5!!!
