good day...
haha today was my 3rd sortie in YFC.... EOC 2... basically know the effects of increasing power, flaps, mixture control, carberetor heat control etc etc etc

woke up at 5.40am.... depart 6.10am.... arrived at Jalan Kayu Bus terminal @ 7.10 just nice for the van in... but somehow they delayed till 7.20 cause i was the only one on the van.... there's another one at 7.40.... anyway met aaron, same course... doing sortie 2 EOC1... well did my revision.... today's objectives were to do external and pre-start checks on my own and air excercise was on trimming....

oki instructor, Siva, my primary instructor viewed my file... said i was damm enthu... but, i quote "don't overcook yourself" well i went to juliet and did my checks.... no problems... oh drew my lucky headset... SE/01.... the mic is damm power sia.... full of metal supports.... and it looks cool...

then Siva walked passed me... i was like huh.... then found out that i was in the wrong AIRCRAFT!!!!!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! toopid toopid toopid.... the website said was Juliet aircraft... but NO....... OPS changed it to Kilo...................... T_T.................. so malu.... anyway... i was a bit kia..... so kinda forgot my checks here and there..... but i managed to start the engine on my own... and it was way cool................. its was like one spin two spin then it started galloping and vroom..... rpm went to 500.... did my checks.... and radioed OPs.... my first time... way cool.... "Skylark OPs, Skylark 86. Radio check" "Skylark 86. Strength 5, number 1" "Skylark 86. Strength 5, number 1" woohoo!!! then i taxi to Yankee (handing over point to Seletar Ground) then taxi to runway 21 and did more checks... can't remember the term but i know its something about doing magneto test and bringing RPMs to 2000... which is damm cool....

take off was done by Siva..... then lesson was cool..... he covered the airmanship for sortie 4, straight and level 1. u know "aircraft sighted, 12 o'clock high" "Visual" kinda thingy... but Siva looked so relaxed during the flight... he was sitting like he was watching ESPN eating potato chips or something.... but its really scary when he clears his throat.... suddenly i can't hear anythng... its like some kinda boom in my ears.. haha...

lesson finished.... Sir did a very quick descent...... did some spiral while asking me to change fuel tank.... wah the G force really was preventing me from turning that knob.... since i need to bend down and turn it... i was like reaching for it.. then he pulled the aircraft to engage a sharp turn... G force push my hand down.... countered it.... he let go of the turn.... missed the knob again!!!! argh!!!! landing was the best..... got a chance to taxi again.... to Yankee and into bay 12.... woah..... first time instructor let me do.... so kyool.....

anyway... next is straight and level.... things are gonna get tougher now.... gotta work harder than b4... here i must note... JC is not the way for me to get my PPL..... its wasting a year.... but if it allows me to realise my dream..... then so be it.....
