ello~
today i finally get to fly!!! yipee!!!! but its the first sortie.... 8.40am.... wah..... woke up at 5.30am... -_- left house at 6am... found out the train service only starts at 6.20am.... ... ... .... ... well at least i could read through my notes. train came.... went to raffles place interchange.... 5mins... ... .... -_-..... oki train came.... smooth journey... but i was laughing away inside me... cause everyone was llike sleeping or dozing away.... why??? cause its a sunday morning... like duh.... lol... got to YFC pick up point at 7.05am... well.... made it in time for da van... apparently YFC was closed... cause the key bearer was in the bus with us... so he disarmeed the security system... but triggered it anyhow... lol...

basically this is my first sortie... meaning i'm practically supposed to sit there and watch... but i drew all the necessary documents b4 hand... he was not impressed at all... he gave that very strict manner... actually got a little bit scared of him... but oh well... went to this room.... argh... forgot the name... basically just drew my headset and disinfected it... went and requested to do my external checks... which is actually supposed to be tested during my next flight... but i decided to do it today... he actually like scolded me for everytime i missed something... actually got a bit nervous here.... cause he was like scaring me.... but oh well.... Be Brave....

he let me do the taxing today.... yeah!!! so fun..... cruising down the taxiway to the runway.... i think was runway 21... ya should be 21.... correct me if i'm wrong yfc guys. ^_^.. haha really fun.... probably my taxing was pretty good..... except my braking.... lol.... the first time i braked, the whole aircraft went off position.... like some Daytona like that.... (Basically there is a left and right brake... so u must apply evenly) haha my instructor got a shock.... i tried a second time... still pretty bad... my right leg must have been sleeping... anyway... i tried a third time... pretty ok liaoz... phew....

oh my flight instructor also scolded me about my mic being too far.... he scolded over 10 times... why?? cause the mic was broken!!!! hello!!! manz..... anyway.... take off was fun... ^_^ was like a dream come true.... then he showed me Area Alpha and Area Bravo....

at 1800ft, things on the ground are like soooo minute.... its like sitting on a chair and looking down on the floor for an eraser... and that so happens to be a block of 3 flats... -_-... and try this.... add another 200 erasers on the floor too.... -_-... then he told me to look for a running track.... uh.... that i couldn't find.... then he told me it was St Nics.... hello??? will that help??? its not like i can read the school's name on the entrace of the schooll... lol... anyway... found it in the end... no problems after that .... except i felt like puking... well.... about 20% only... so lost my concentration for Area Bravo.... the one i'm luckily more familiar with....

landing was pretty scary... cause he seem to like flew over the runway at 10 feet.... and the aircraft just couldn't touch down.... lol.... then when he landed, the way he braked nearly caused the aircraft the swerve.... well actually it did... lol... remind you of someone? lol.... hint he was sitting next to the pilot... anyway... he let me taxi back and yea! i completed my first sortie!!! got a lot of catching up to do.... basically he passed me for external checks... so next lesson i need not be tested on ext checks but on pre-start checks.... meaning i'm technically ahead of the syllabus in terms of ground checks...

well.... flight ended around 9.20.... departure was 8.40am.... so everything was cool..... can't wait to fly again.... gotta go nowz... got to rest.... feel very tired today...
