anyway thought i'll document this present i'm making... just ignore this cause i'm not releasing any more details till i've sent it. after all it'll take about a week before it reaches singapore. so hmmm whats the surprise in that ehz... officially the building blocks of this present started on the 5th of august... and cause of lazy ole me.... have not finished making the present even till today!!! well maybe cause its not just one piece, gotta worry about packaging on top of that gotta find out how to send this via mail!!! gotta find it another POST box to fit the present in and check with the post office what it'll take to send this present over. its been fun trying to do it... i still find a lot of joy as i pour my heart and soul into it.... well i do that for almost anything i do anyway... :P unless i'm forced to do something against my will...

hmmm.... cooked this weekend.... the goal was to replicate my mom's chicken macaroni soup dish.... the one dish that i never get sick of even if i have it for 2 days in a row... it started off as a rough idea and random purchasing of dishes.... eventually after 2 hours i made 8 bowls for my course with a 90% identical dish.... woah really could literally taste home..... and it was really nice to boot.... am glad to say that all my course mates like the dish.... feel a great sense of achivement to make one of my own favourite dishes... !!! yipee!!!

its like what i mentioned sometime back about my outlook about how a pilot is... it is like an eagle, the eagle has many roles, it has its role of protecting its offspring by using its wings as a shield to protect them. another one of them is to fight any aggressors that pose a threat to the offspring and in turn protect its existence... such are a few of the many ways this so called idea can be interpreted...

and in doing so, you can roughly see the inclinations of the various wings in the RSAF such as the fighter, chopper and transport worlds have towards the Eagle idea... as for me, i'm personally a protector, serving my nation by providing aid to its people and honoring the country's name... i don't see myself as a person that will eventually take the life of someone else away to protect the one's i love. i see myself as one who will support and aid our brave souls that do see their calling in the former.... to be exposed to the front line and providing aid / support. that is my calling... but i guess it is up to fate to decide on where i will go eventually. and i'd make do with that cause to me, flying is the number 1 thing i want to have. its a personal choice on how my wings are put to use...
